To speed up the game, players may agree to take all of the non-property squares out of the game. The effect of landing on them would be to move to the next square. If there is a mechanism for going to Jail, Jail itself could be retained. There is also an element of reducing chance, in that there are fewer safe havens to avoid paying rent. Go could still be used as a starting point.
