remove the dice.

you want to know more than just who's the luckiest.

As described elsewhere in this website, substituting playing cards for dice allows the players to modulate how much the game's outcome will be determined by luck.  An Ultimate Monopoly™ game will require more than one deck of cards, assuming there are five or more players.  In Ultimate Monopoly™, players may buy and sell cards, but only if the buyer has a card to replace the card being sold.  If any cards are sold, they will be returned to their original owner after that round of turns is taken.

For the first round of turns, that is, for the first eleven moves by each player, players will select six cards to keep in their hands, and allow another player to shuffle the remaining five cards, which then will be placed face down in front of the appropriate player.

For the second round of turns, players will keep three cards in their hands, with the remainder being shuffled and placed on the table, as in previous turns.  All subsequent rounds of turns will be played with all cards face down.  If players agree that all will use dice, they may, but the effect of doubles in the standard rules will not apply.  It should be noted that when dice are substituted for playing cards, the likelihood of any particular number appearing will be different from when playing cards are used; however, this will not affect the fact moves will be random rather than decided by the players
